Description

Klüberfood NH1 CH 2-460 is a synthetic high-temperature oil that can dissolve residues as fresh oil enters the circuit. Continuous minimum-quantity lubrication with this oil leads to longer chain life. The product's optimised thermal stability helps reduce lubricant consumption. As thermal residues are regenerated, Klüberfood NH1 CH 2-460 can lead to lower maintenance and repair costs. It is NSF H1-registered and therefore complies with FDA 21 CFR § 178.3570. It was developed for incidental contact with products and packaging materials in the food-processing, cosmetics, pharmaceutical or animal feed industries. The use of Klüberfood NH1 CH 2-460 can contribute to increase reliability of your production processes. Nevertheless it is recommended to conduct an additional risk analysis, e.g. HACCP.

Application

Klüberfood NH1 CH 2-460 was developed for chain lubrication at high temperatures. It is used for the lubrication of oven transport chains, e.g. in large industrial bakeries.

Application notes

Klüberfood NH1 CH 2-460 can be pumped and applied by means of conventional centralised lubricating systems using gear pumps. Manual brush application is also possible. If Klüberfood NH1 CH 2-460 is to be used in contact with elastomers or plastics, please check compatibility beforehand. Please refrain from bringing the chain oil near open flames or flammable materials and keep it away from sources of ignition.
